China’s Shanghai Composite added 0.38 percent or 7.85 points at 2,074.98.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.71 percent or 155.19 points at 22,050.59.
Japan’s Nikkei surged 2.59 percent or 346.28 points at 13,711.45.
Singapore’s Straits Times advanced 0.32 percent or 10.04 points at 3,099.44.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite rose 1.06 percent or 19.64 points at 1,868.76.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted gained 0.81 percent or 62.91 points at 7,877.29.
